Here at Choice MedWaste, we're not just about sharps and regulated medical waste.

Due to our work with research facilities, incubators and pharmaceutical groups, we have received a lot of requests to handle their chemical and hazardous material waste too.

That's why we go above and beyond, tackling even the trickiest waste situation–-from start to finish–we've got you covered!

THE PROCESS

Material Confirmation

First up, we need to know what we're dealing with. The best way to identify your waste material is by Safety Data Sheets(SDS). If you need us to come on site and test the material or send it to a lab, we are also happy to help. Once we have the SDS sheet or material confirmed, the next best step is to provide a list of material and quantity with volumes of each so we know what supplies are needing to package the hazardous waste.

Quote and Supplies Confirmation

Once we've receive all the details, we'll confirm what supplies we need to pack up the material and give you a quote.

Scheduling

After you give us the green light, we'll coordinate with our disposal/transfer station and set a date that works for everyone. Hazardous waste can sometimes take longer to schedule due to the need to receive approvals from the disposal facilities before shipment.

Pick-Up and Transport

On the scheduled day, we'll pick up all the documented material, record it on an EPA Manifest, and transport it to the permitted facility–all in a day's work.

Follow-Up

If there are any leftover items,unknown materials or surprises, we may need to make a return trip. We won't take anything that hasn't been given the thumbs up by the disposal/transfer station.
